# Will I Get a Refund on Unused Time When Upgrading Yearly Plans?

When upgrading from one yearly plan to another, any unused time on your current plan will be prorated and applied as a discount to your upgraded plan, rather than refunded.

The upgrade takes effect immediately, while your billing cycle remains unchanged.
