Customer Account Widget

In this article we will cover how to implement the Customer Account widget in your Shopify store.


Add the widgets to your orders, order status and customer profiles!


Add the widget to your customer accounts


  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store -> Themes -> Edit Theme


  1. Within the Shopify theme editor click on the dropdown and then on Checkout and customer accounts


  1. Click on the dropdown again and select where you want to add the customer account widget. You can add this to your Order status, Orders or Profile pages.


We recommend adding the widget across all three areas to maximise touch-points with your customers.


  1. Once you have decided where to add the widget, simply click on Add block and select the Greenspark Customer Widget. This can then be dragged to your desired position on the page.




Customise the widget


Once you have added the widget you are able to customise it to fit your theme.


  • Widget Background -> sets the background of your widget. This is limited by Shopify to ensure it matches all themes.
  • Widget alignment -> positions the widget to be either left, center or right aligned.
  • Widget full width -> When set to true the widget will fill the container.
  • Hide popup -> Controls whether the popup is shown when your customer clicks on the widget.


Below is a popup example. We generally recommend activating this since it allows your customers to learn more about the projects they are supporting.
