If you are on a 1.0 theme, you can access our Dynamic, Static and Round badges . To add these badges to your site, you need to embed them. Here’s how:

Head to the badges and widgets section of your dashboard.

Choose the badge you wish to embed into your store

Choose your store from the list provided in the pop-out window

Click on the Proceed to Shopify button

Find the Greenspark Badge app and click on the arrow button to expand the options

How To Connect My Shopify Store?

Accepted Answer

Integrating your Shopify store to your Greenspark account is quick and easy and can be done in a few short steps.

After completing the sign-up process, log in to your dashboard and click ‘Add Impact’.

You’re given two options here. To integrate with Shopify, click ‘Integrations & automations’.

Find Shopify. A window will open up, and you must follow the instructions to connect. You will be redirected to Shopify, where you must input your shop details and an API Key.

Why Is There a Broken Link Where My Badge Should Be?

This link shows due to the automatic widget being enabled within the Shopify Theme editor without including the necessary IDs. To remedy this, you can either remove the badge or input the necessary variables.

If you would like to remove the badge you'll want to disable the automatic widget in the Shopify Theme Editor:

You can do this by sliding the toggle.

However, if you would like to activate this badge:

You can do this by logging into your dashboard and selecting 'Engagament Hub'.

From here you want to select 'manage' on badges and widgets.

Now you'll want to select the badge with the broken link by clicking 'use badge'.

Then, click 'App Imbed' on the top of the pop-up next to 'App Block'

From here, if you scroll down you can see the Greenspark ID and Badge URL which you'll want to copy.

If you have a Shopify 2.0 theme:

If you are on a 2.0 theme, you have easy access to all our badges and they can be dragged and dropped into wherever you want on your store. This will not require the API. To do this:

From your Shopify admin, go to 'Online Store' > 'Themes'.

Find the theme that you want to edit, and then click Customise.

Navigate to the page where you want to add the app section. Click Add section.

From the drop-down menu, in the Apps section, select the Greenspark badge that you want to add to the page.

Optional: move the app section to where you want it on the page, and customise the block using any available settings.

How To Add Widgets Using The Widget API

1. You'll First Want To Start By Creating A Widget API Key:

You can find your API keys in your Account under the API Keys tab. Click on the 'Create API Key' button to start.

Name your API key and choose 'Widget API' as the type, then click on the 'Create API Key' button to generate your key.

Copy your API key and embed it into your application to fetch Widgets. Your API key is only shown to you once so you can't view it after you close this dialog, but you can always create a new one if needed.

2. From Here You Can Use Our Widget API Documentation To Start Building The Correct Endpoint For Your Site.

Below is a list of our widgets, linked to their API documentation where you can fetch and display all of our Widgets easily. This will require some custom coding and so we highly suggest the support of a developer when inputting a badge using the Widget API.
